Djakarta Lloyd?s president director Syahril Japarin said in Jakarta on Friday that the coal delivery would be begun within the next two months. ?We are still preparing for the procurement of a new ship to be able to meet the long-term contract,? he added.
Under the contract, Djakarta Lloyd will transport coal from Lampung to Labuan in Banten, Pelabuhan Ratu in West Java, Pacitan in East Java and Sibolga in North Sumatra.
?As part of the contract, we will transport 1.5 million tonnes of coal a year to Sibolga,? Syahril said.(*)
