Donggi Senoro opens limited tender for LNG transportation

Syueb Abuhanifah, the spokesman for the company, said in Jakarta on Wednesday that the firm had been preparing the the tender since 2008 but it was delayed due to uncertainty related to the government?s decision on the project.
?We have invited five LNG transporting companies to take part in the limited tender,? he said, adding that four of them were foreign firms and one local company.
The local company is PT Humpuss Intermoda Tbk. The firm confirmed the report.
Pertamina holds a 29 percent participating stake in DSLNG, while PT Medco Energi Internasional 20 percent and Mitsubishi a controlling 51 percent share. The partnership plans to set up a 2-MTPA LNG plant.
Gas for the proposed plant will be supplied from Matindok-Donggi Block, which is operated by Pertamina, and Senoro-Toili Block, which is jointly operated by Pertamina and Medco. (*)
