Dozens of mothers plan to hold a rally today at the headquarters of oil and gas firm PT Exspan Sumatra in Musi-Banyuasin (Muba) regency to demand the company to release their husbands from the local jail, according to the local Sumatra Express daily in its Wednesday edition.
The paper said that the husbands were detained over alleged involvement in the recent explosion of a fuel tank truck at the Exspan checkpoint as part of a rally to demand jobs at the company.
The mothers said that they would continue to hold the rally until their husbands were released.
They said that the husbands were needed to find money to financing their daily needs. (*)
