Drilling at Lola Kecil well in Seram reaches 778 ft

Australian oil company Kalrez Energy Limited announced on Thursday that drilling at Lola Kecil 1 well in Seram Non-Bula production sharing contract (PSC) had reached the depth of 778 feet.

Kalrez said the planned total depth was 5,190 feet.

Drilling in Lola Kecil 1 commenced on April 5.

Kuwait?s oil company Kufpec is the operator of Seram Non-Bula PSC and holds 97.5 percent working interest in the block, while Kalrez holds the remaining 2.5 percent stake. (alex)
