SGX-listed Interra Resources Limited announced that drilling at TMT-53 well at the Tanjung Miring Timur field in South Sumatra, by its wholly owned subsidiary, Goldwater TMT Pte. Ltd. has reached total depth of 1,165 meters.

Following wireline electric logging, the prospective reservoir formations will be evaluated to determine zones to be tested via casing perforation, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

The drilling is using one of its two high quality contracted rigs currently active in the TMT field.

The primary objective of the drilling is the sandstone reservoirs of the Talang Akar Formation with the secondary objective being the carbonate reservoirs of the shallower Batu Raja Formation.
