Drilling continued at Alas Tua

Drilling at Alas Tua West-1 exploration well in Cepu PSC block in East Java is continuing and has reached the depth of 6,300 feet on Friday, Sept 24, 2010.
A Petromindo.Com source said that the well would be drilled to the planned total depth of 8,459 feet and thus far, has yet penetrated the target.
The well was spudded in June.
After Alas Tua West, the drilling program will move to the Alas Tua East and Kedung Keris exploration wells.
Exxon Mobil and state oil and gas company PT Pertamina each has 45 percent stake in Cepu block. (*)
