Drilling of Lemang block to start end of this month

Singapore-listed Ramba Energy Ltd said that drilling of the first exploration well at the Lemang block in Sumatra, the Selong-1 well, is scheduled for October 29.
Ramba, which has a 40 percent interest in the Lemang PSC, said in a statement Friday that the Selong-1 well is located in the Lemang block?s Akatara prospect, and has a true vertical depth of 6,350 feet.
The Selong-1 well is targeting the Intra Gumai Sand Formation, Upper Talangakar Formation, Lower Talangakar Formation and the Crystalline Basement, the company added.
