Drilling programs, seismic surveys in September

Head of Survey and Drilling Division at Upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas, Arief Fanshuri, revealed to Petromindo.com drilling programs and seismic survey activities scheduled for September as follows.
Drilling programs of exploration wells are:
JOB Pertamina-PetroChina Salawati at Zircon-1 exploration well in Salawati block, West Papua, in early September; Genting Oil at Asap 4x well in Kasuri block, Papua (started Sept 6); PT Pertamina EP at Kawista-1 well in Sanga-Sanga field, Sanggata block, East Kalimantan; Singapore Petroleum Company Mahakam at Naga Utara-2 well in North Mahakam block, East Kalimantan; and PetroChina at Suko East-1 in the Jabung block, Jambi.
Drilling of development wells are scheduled to be carried out by CPI (71 wells), Pertamina EP (11 wells) VICO (5 wells), Total EP Indonesie (9 wells), PHE WMO (2 wells), and Medco Tomori (2 wells).
Meanwhile, seismic survey activities planned for September-December period include 620 sq km 3D seismic by ENI, 500 sq km 3D seismic by KrisEnergy, 820 km 2D seismic by Terra Global, 110 km 2D seismic by Medco SCS, 547 sq km 3D seismic by Medco SCS, and 380 sq km 3D seismic by Husky.
