The Donggi Senoro LNG (DSLNG) plant is scheduled for commissioning in late August or early September. It will receive 8 mmscfd of gas from the Senoro gas field in Senoro Toili block, Central Sulawesi.
?JOB Senoro plans to funnel 8 mmscfd of gas to DSLNG plant which will begin its commissioning phase in late August or early September,? Development Director of IDX-listed PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk, Eka Satria Djalins, told Petromindo.com Friday.
The Senoro gas field is operated by JOB Pertamina-Medco E&P Tomori Sulawesi (JOBPMTS).
The DSLNG plant is owned by a consortium of Medco, state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero), and Japanese firm Mitsubishi Corporation. The plant will have a total production capacity of 2.1 million tons per annum, and will obtain its gas supply from the Senoro and Matindok gas fields.
Eka noted that the work progress of the upstream Senoro project has been 86 percent completed. ?I hope that the initial gas production of the Senoro field can occur in February 2015, while the full production will start in April 2015,? he said.
According to him, JOBPMTS plans to deliver the full gas production of 310 mmscfd from the field to the DSLNG plant and local ammonia producer PT Panca Amara Utama (PAU), which respectively, will receive 250 mmscfd and 55 mmscfd.
