DSLNG to complete commissioning early June

The commissioning of the Donggi Senoro LNG (DSLNG) plant in Banggai regency, Central Sulawesi using gas from the Senoro field is now in progress and is expected to be completed by June 1, 2015, according to a top official of PT Medco Energi International.

?God willing, the DSLNG plant will be completed mechanically by end March and the commissioning will be completed by June 1 of this year,? Medco?s President Director Lukman Mahfoedz told Petromindo.com.

The commissioning of the project started last October.

The Senoro gas field is operated by JOB Pertamina-Medco E&P Tomori Sulawesi (JOBPMTS).

The US$2.8 billion DSLNG plant is owned by a consortium comprising of Medco, state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero), and Japanese firm Mitsubishi Corporation. The plant will have a total production capacity of 2.1 million tons per annum, and will obtain gas from the Senoro and Matindok fields. The LNG plant will start full production in mid-2015.
