IDX-listed coal and energy company PT Dian Swastika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA) said construction progress of its 2x50 Kendari-3 PLTU coal-fired power plant project in Southeast Sulawesi Province is expected to reach 60 percent by the end of this year.
This was said by DSSA Director Hermawan Tarjono to Petromindo.com on Friday.
He said that construction progress of the estimated US$200 million power plant project currently reached around 56 percent. He added that physical construction of the power plant is expected to be completed next year with the view that it can start operation in 2019.
DSSA will sell the electricity output to state-owned electricity firm PT PLN for 25 years under a power purchase agreement signed in May of 2015.
The power plant will be operated by DSSA subsidiary PT DSSP Power Kendari.
