DSSA obtains loan from CDB for power projects

IDX-listed coal mining firm PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk obtains US$510 million loan from China Development Bank (CDB) to help finance two power plant projects, Kontan reported Saturday.
DSSA is developing a 1x300 MW coal-fired power plant in Musi Banyuasin (South Sumatra-5) worth $480 million.
The company, a unit of the diversified Sinar Mas Group, is also developing a 2x50 MW power plant in Kendari, South Sulawesi, worth $200 million.
DSSA subsidiary PT DSSP Power Sumsel had earlier obtained a $318 million from CDB to finance a 2x150 MW mine mouth power project in South Sumatra.(*)
