PT Daya Mas Cisolok Geothermal, a subsidiary of IDX-listed PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (IDX: DSSA), has submitted an environmental impact assessment (AMDAL) for its planned 50 MW geothermal power plant in Sukabumi Regency, West Java, according to filings on Indonesia’s Amdalnet platform.

The project, located in Sirnarasa Village within the Cisolok-Cisukarame Geothermal Working Area (WKP), includes two 25 MW units, a 15-kilometer 150 kV transmission line with 45 towers, and supporting infrastructure covering about 122 hectares.

The submission, led by CEO Gregory Cecil Thompson, follows DSSA’s fulfillment of exploration commitments through its operator PT Daya Mas Cisolok Geothermal. In January 2025, DSSA’s geothermal arm deposited US$31.8 million with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources as part of the WKP award contract.

The 15,580-hectare concession includes protected and productive forest zones managed in part by state plantation company PTPN VIII. DSSA aims to commission the plant by 2031, with total investment estimated at US$210.5 million.

DSSA’s 2024 annual report highlights ongoing remote sensing and structural modeling work, reaffirming geothermal development as a core element of the company’s transition to cleaner energy in line with Indonesia’s decarbonization goals.
