Coal miner PT Cahaya Bara Pratama, which is 99,998 percent owned by IDX-listed coal mining firm PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA), obtained on August 5 a production and operation IUP mining business permit for a concession in Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra, according to DSSA interim consolidated financial report seen on Friday.

The permit, which is valid until December 12, 2017, was issued after the Musi Banyuasin Regent issued a decree approving the transfer of part of the concession of PT Cahaya Nusa Pratama (CNP), which is also 99.998 percent owned by DSSA, to PT Cahaya Bara Pratama (CBP).

CNP transferred 1,655 hectares of its total 3,318 hectares concession in Tungkal Jaya, Musi Banyuasin, to CBP.
