DSSP to break ground on Central Kalimantan power project at year?s end

PT DSSP Power Mas Utama, an indirect subsidiary of energy and IDX-listed infrastructure company PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk. (DSS) Tbk, has scheduled to break ground on its 2x100 MW coal fired power plant (PLTU) in Gunung Mas regency, Central Kalimantan province at the end of this year.

Boyke Nugroho, Project Director of DSSP Power Mas Utama told Petromindo.com on Wednesday that the company is holding EPC tender for the project.

?The ground breaking will be conducted as soon as we finish land clearing and expectedly by the year?s end,? he said adding that the Commercial on Date (COD) of the power plant is scheduled to be achieved in 2019.

The power plant is designed with a feedstock of 3,200 CV coal.

DSSP Power Mas Utama operates as a subsidiary of PT DSSE Energi Mas Utama, a subsidiary of DSA.
