DST at TPN-1 and TGP-2 wells shows significant results: PEP

PT Pertamina EP (PEP) said that drilling steam tests (DST) at Tapen-1 (TPN-1) well in the Cepu block, in Central Java, and at the Tegal Pacing-2 (TGP-2) well in Cikarang, West Java, shows significant results.

DST-1 at the TPN-1 well shows oil result of 500 bopd (average), while DST-2 and DST-3 at the TGP-2 well show gas result of 15 mmscfd, PEP Vice President for Exploration Nanang S. Manaf told Petromindo.com Thursday.

DST-1 at the TPN-1 well had recently suffered from a brief delay following protest from local villagers. The test was resumed after the company held a constructive dialogue with the villagers.
