DST at West Badikan shows gas, condensate indication

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi said the first drill stem test (DST#1) at the West Badik well in Nunukan block, East Kalimantan showed hydrocarbon indications, consisting of 20 mmscfd of gas and around 600 barrels of condensate per day
The well was drilled with 36/64? choke, Alfian Husein, General Manager of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Nunukan, told Petromindo.com
The second DST (DST#2) is now under preparation, he said.
PHE is the operator of the Nunukan block after acquiring the 35 percent interest of US oil and gas firm Anadarko in February of 2013. Medco Energi owns 40 percent interest in the block, with the balance equally shared by Indian Firms Videocon Industries Limited and Bharat PetroResources Limited.
