State owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina is restarting the hydrocracker unit of its Dumai refinery in Riau after shutting it down last month due to technical problems.
“The hydrocracker unit is undergoing a commissioning test today (Friday) and is expected to start producing normally later today or tomorrow,” the refinery's spokesman Sukirmansah said.
“Production will increase to normal level in phases," he went on.
The refinery, located in Riau province, has a 120,000 b/d processing capacity. (Godang)
