Duta Graha eyes three coal mining projects

IDX-listed firm PT Duta Graha Indah Tbk plans to expand into its current core businesses of property, road and other civil infrastructure construction, Investor Daily reported Monday.
Corporate Secretary Djohan Halim said in Jakarta on Sunday that the company was exploring the possibility of joining the tender for three coal mine concessions in Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi.
He said that Duta Graha would cooperate with Macmahon Holding Limited, one of Australia?s major mining contractors, in providing mining construction services in Indonesia.
?We are currently joining a tender for the construction of a coal mine in Sulawesi. We hope we will win the tender and begin the project this year,? he said without giving further detail. (*)
