E.Java invites Chinese, Malaysian investors to explore gold

The district administration of Malang in East Java said it has sought cooperation with Chinese and Malaysian investors to explore for gold in that district area, Antara reported Monday.
Head of the district office of energy and mineral resources Gatot Daryanto said the district administration has drafted the terms and conditions for the planned cooperation.
Daryanto said prospective investors from China has surveyed a particular location in the Sindang Baru, which is believed to have gold reserves.
He said there are five such locations, but no estimate yet about the potential of the reserves.
He said Malang also has coal and oil potential that need further explorations.(*)
