E. Kalimantan producers, PKT in gas supply talks

East Kalimantan fertilizer maker PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (PKT) is negotiating gas supply with East Kalimantan gas producers for its expansion plan, an official with upstream oil, gas authority BPMIGAS said on Monday.

Marketing Division Head Rudi Satmiko told Petromindo.Com that East Kalimantan gas producers Total E&P Indonesie, Chevron and Pearl Oil will supply 80 MMCFD of gas to PKT.

?The heads of agreement is being negotiated,? he said without giving detail.

Separately, BPMIGAS Vice Chairman Hadi Purnomo said under the deal, the East Kalimantan PSCs will supply gas for PKT for 10 years starting 2011. (godang)
