E. Kalimantan upgrading plant to start commercial ops Q4

ASX-listed coal upgrading firm White Energy Corporation (WEC) said its East Kalimantan upgrading subsidiary PT Kaltim Supacoal (KSC) will start commercial operations in December quarters.
The company said in a report released Wednesday that it was on track to sell first shipment of coal in December quarter.
?KSC has produced first batch of upgraded briquettes and is now preparing to operate the plant at the full commercial scale,? the company said.
WEC, together with partner Indonesian coal producer PT Bayan Resources are setting up a 1MTPA coal upgrading plant in Tabang.
The partnership is now planning to increase capacity to 5MTPA.(alex)
