East Kalimantan coal firm to start production soon

Coal mining firm PT Singlurus Pratama will start production early next year with a full-year production target of around 1 million tons of coal, according to company president Lukman Kartanegara.

Lukman said on Thursday that in 2003, production would be increased to 2 million tons.

Singlurus operates a coal mining site near Samarinda in East Kalimantan.(Godang)
