Ecosse Energy Corp, a company focused on oil and gas exploration and production in Indonesia, announced that Paul Griggs has joined the board of directors of the company as a non-executive director in preparation for the company's proposed stock market (AIM) listing this year.

The company said in a statement obtained by Petromindo.com late Monday that Griggs has over 30 years experience in the oil and gas and investment banking industries where he has an impressive track record in business development and implementing international growth strategies for the oil and gas companies he has worked with.

In parallel, and as a part of a process of reconfiguring the board ahead of a proposed AIM listing, Nigel Fletcher has resigned as a director. Nigel will remain actively involved with the company as a director of its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Ecosse Energy (Bengkulu) Pty and Ecosse Energy (Manokwari) Ltd, in Indonesia .

"We are pleased to welcome Paul onto the Board ahead of our proposed AIM listing this year. Paul's industry knowledge allied to his understanding of the London market will be a positive addition to the board,? said Alan Morrison, President and CEO of ECosse Energy Corp. AIM is a sub-market of the London Stock Exchange.

Ecosse Energy through its wholly owned subsidiaries owns 100 percent working interest in the Bengkulu PSC in Sumatra and Manokwari PSC in West Papua . The Bengkulu PSC covers 4,101km2 and consists of both onshore and offshore portions. The Manokwari PSC covers 3902km2. Both blocks are currently in the exploration phase with both PSCs planning to drill onshore wells in 2012.
