EEES to drill four wells at Sengkang block in August

PT Energy Equity Epic Sengkang (EEES) is scheduled to drill four wells at the Sengkang block in South Sulawesi in the third week of August.

EEES, a unit of Australia-listed energy firm Energy World Corporation, initially proposed to drill 6 wells, but the company has encountered obstacles particularly in terms of land acquisition in the forest area, according to Head of Survey and Drilling Division at upstream authority SKK Migas, Arief Fanshuri.

Arief told Petromindo.com Thursday that EEES then decided to drill only four wells, and drill another two wells in 2014.
