State oil and gas firm Pertamina and security officials are still trying to find ways of freeing the three contract workers of Aceh based oil and gas company ExxonMobil Indonesia who were kidnapped this week by a group of armed men, Pertamina?s spokesperson Sidick Nitikusuma told Petromindo.com on Friday.
Sidick said the kidnappers had on Friday demanded Rp 200 million from ExxonMobil and Pertamina for the release of the workers. (US$=Rp9335)
Sidick did not say however whether Exxon and Pertamina would consider fulfilling their demand.
