Ego Syahrial to be installed as new oil, gas chief

Ego Syahrial is expected to be installed today as the new Director General of Oil and Gas at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, replacing IGN Wiratmaja Puja, according to a source.

Ego is currently Head of the ministry?s Geology Agency. Wiratmaja will be named as the new Head of the ministry?s Human Resources Development Agency, replacing Djadjang Sukarno, who is entering pension age.

The source added that Saleh Abdurahman, expert staff to the minister, will be installed as the new Secretary of the National Energy Council (DEN).
