APLSI, which has been a key player in Indonesia’s energy sector for over two decades, has contributed approximately 15.5 GW, or about 20% of the country’s total installed electricity capacity. Moving forward, APLSI aims to support the achievement of the 69.5 GW target outlined in the RUPTL, with the private sector expected to contribute up to 71% of this total capacity. This target is part of the broader goal to provide affordable, reliable, and sustainable electricity to the country.
Eka Satria brings extensive experience in Indonesia’s energy and infrastructure sectors. Prior to his role as CEO of Medco Power Indonesia, he held various leadership positions, including Asset Development Director at PT Medco Energi Internasional and Project Manager for major energy projects at BP Indonesia. He also completed the BP Executive Program – Major Project Leaders at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2004.
