Eksploitasi Energi begins maiden coal shipments to China, India

The company said it exported low rank coal with calorific value of 4,200 Kcal/kg (GAR). ?The maiden exports to China and India were made in the July-August period,? said Director of Exploitasi Energi Novriaty Sibuea.
The first shipment of 50,000 tons to Apple Commodities was made in July of this year via the Muara Satui port in South Kalimantan. Ekploitasi expected a second shipment after the buyer received the first shipment.
Another 50,000 tons shipment was made to Trammo AG during the period of July 25-August 5 via the same port. A follow-up shipment will be made if the first shipment is in accordance with the specifications required by the buyer.
The company said that the coal was produced from its 175 hectares Bantuas mine in East Samarinda, East Kalimantan. ?The current average production at the mine is 30,000 tons per month. We?re targeting it to increase o 100,000 per month,? Novriaty said. (*)
