Eksploitasi Energi on expansion mode

Indonesia-listed coal trading company PT Eksploitasi Energi Indonesia will acquire a 60 percent stake in PT Tenaga Listrik Bintan, an independent power producer, for Rp 48 billion.

?The company will take over Tenaga Listrik?s 60 percent share from PT Sakti Mas Mulia,? Eksploitasi Energi said in a filing to the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Tenaga Listrik?s other shareholders are PT Menamas with 25 percent, PT Pembangunan Kepri 10 percent and PT Multi Resources Investama 5 percent.

Tenaga Listrik is developing a 2x10.8 MW coal-fired power plant in Tanjung Pinang, Riau Islands. It has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with state owned electricity company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara.
