Electricity sales up 2.6%

State-owned electricity company PT. Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) saw its electricity sales in the first quarter of this year increased by 2.64 percent to 48.04 tWh compared to the same period of last year, Bisnis Indonesia reported on Thursday.
The paper quoted Head of PLN Commercial Division, Benny Marbun as saying that the Q1 2015 growth was lower than the 7.58 percent growth in Q1 2014.
He, however, said that sales growth may accelerate going forwar looking at the March growth of 3.56 percent. (*)
