Electricity tariff adjustment to be made every three months

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has decided to make adjustment of electricity tariff every three months instead of the previous monthly adjustment.

This was said by Director General of Electricity Jarman in a statement issued following a coffee morning gathering on Friday discussing among others the new policy.

The government adjusts the tariff of non-subsidized electricity by taking into account development of three factors including exchange rate of the rupiah, oil price (Indonesia Crude Oil Price/ICP), and inflation rate.
