Two oil and gas related companies PT Elnusa Harapan and PT Bhakti Migas Utama will raise loans worth up to Rp 184.93 billion from Bank Mandiri Syariah to finance their expansion programs, Investor Daily reported on Thursday.
The bank’s senior executive Hariwijaya said in Jakarta on Wednesday that the loans to be provided by the two companies were part of the bank’s more serious commitment to provide the funding for oil and gas, and mining activities.
In addition to oil and gas companies, Bank Mandiri Syariah had also committed to providing loans to coal mining companies. The bank, for example, has also agreed to provide loans worth about Rp 25 billion to two coal mining companies PT Dianlia Setya Mukti and PT Satui Baratama. (*)
