Elnusa bags $15m contract from Total

IDX-listed oil services provider PT Elnusa Tbk has obtained a US$15 million contract from French firm Total EP Indonesie (TEPI) to supply the latter with an accommodation work barge (AWB) unit for five years.
?The accommodation work barge which is named ?Elnusa Samudra 8? (Elsa 8) is now being constructed in Batam,? Elnusa Director of Operation Susila Lusiaga Levi told Petromindo.com on Tuesday on the sidelines of HSE Communication Forum 2014 in Balikpapan.
He added that the accommodation work barge is expected to be in operation by the end of this year.
?The barge will be shipped to the Mahakam Delta, East Kalimantan, Total?s operation area. There will be also a new technology that will be implemented,? he said, without giving further details about the new technology.
