Elnusa bags $20.2m upstream contracts

PT.Elnusa, a unit of state oil and gas company PT.Pertamina, announced on Monday that it has secured two upstream contracts worth US$20.2 million in Indonesia and Brunei.

VP Corporate Secretary Haris Syahrudin said that Elnusa will conduct drilling services worth $4.9 million for BOB PT. Bumi Siak Pusako, the operator of Jamrud and Butun oilfields in CPP Block, Central Sumatra. The drilling contract will last for 13 months starting November. The drilling actitivies is expected to be able to increase the fileds? output to 28,600BOPD from 23,000 BOPD currently.

The company also bagged $15.3 million contract to carry out 3D seismic at Tutong block in Brunei starting February 2008. (godang)
