Elnusa, PLN still in talks over C. Kalimantan gas price

Elnusa Bangkanai Ltd a unit of IDX-listed firm Elnusa Tbk is still in talks with state electricity firm PLN over gas price from its Bangkanai gas block onshore Central Kalimantan.
An Elnusa official who declined to be named said that the company is asking for US$5.75 per MMBTU (at well head) while PLN is asking for $4.5 per MMBTU.
?Hopefully the Gas Sales Agreement (GSA) could be sealed in August,? the official said.
Under the deal, Elnusa will supply 20 MMCFD of gas to PLN starting 2012 for 20 years from Karendan gas field.
Elnusa is the block?s operator with 50.01% interest.(bernard)
