Elnusa to process Pertamina?s gas in Bekasi

PT Elnusa Petro Teknik will set up a gas plant in Bekasi, West Java to process gas produced from Pertamina?s six oil wells in the regency?s Kedungjaya village, Babelan, Koran Tempo reported on Tuesday.

The company would cooperate with the local government-owned company PT Bina Bangun Wibawa Mukti to run the gas factory to process the gas from the six oil wells which has been wasted for years due to the lack of processing facility.

The daily said that PT Elnusa and its partner would invest about US$7.7 million to build the gas processing factory and its supporting facilities, which would include a 32-kilometer gas pipeline.

The company expects to receive sales revenues of about US$77.5 million a year from its operation. With total operating cost of about US$50.8 million, the company hopes to receive net sales of about US$26.7 million a year. (*)
