Elysium partly completes detailed mapping of Malang gold, copper lease

ASX-listed Elysium Resources Ltd said that about 1,500 hectares of detailed mapping at its gold and copper tenement area in Malang, East Java, has been completed during the quarter ending March of this year.
The company said in its quarterly report released on Tuesday that district mapping has covered 7,982 ha, or about 80 percent of the total tenement area, during the quarter.
?During the mapping, 354 samples were collected, consisting of 143 rock chip samples, 38 meters of channel samples and 164 samples from clay / soil,? the report said.
?Interpretation / compilation of the mapping is anticipated to take place during the next quarter. The samples have been submitted to the assay laboratory and should also be available during the next quarter,? it added.
Elysium last year signed an agreement last year with local firm PT Gata Sumbar Daya to carry out exploration work at the lease including reconnaissance mapping.
