EMCL completing final contract settlement with EPC contractors

ExxonMobil Cepu Ltd (EMCL) is currently completing the final contract settlement with engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors for the Banyu Urip project in the Cepu block, Bojonegoro regency, East Java.
"EPC works have been 100 percent completed at the Banyu Urip since July 31, 2016. Now the final contract settlement and close out is being carried out between EMCL and each of the EPC contractors, such as Tripatra, Rekind, and others,? Unit Head for Acceleration of Banyu Urip Project at SKK Migas, Julius Wiratno told Petromindo.com.
The Cepu block, located in the border areas of Central Java and East Java, is one of the prime oil and gas projects in the country. The block is jointly operated by EMCL and PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PEPC), a subsidiary of state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina.
