ExxonMobil Cepu Ltd. (EMCL) and PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PEPC) will propose a Put on Production (PoP) for the Kedung Keris field in Cepu block to upstream authority SKK Migas for approval this year.

"If well testing in the Kedung Keris field gives significant result, we shall to submit the PoP to SKK Migas this year," PEPC?s President Director Amril Thaib Mandailing told Petromindo.com.

The field is expected to add up the blocks production by 3,000-6,000 bopd, he said.

According to Amril, if the PoP is approved by SKK Migas and the result of well testing is quite large, two more wells will be drilled to raise the field?s production to 10,000-15,000 bopd.

"Thereafter, we shall propose a PoD (plan of development),? he said.

The Kedung Keris oil field is part of the Cepu block, located at the borders of Central Java and East Java. The block is operated by EMCL with a 45 percent participating interest. PEPC holds another 45 percent.
