EMOI to continue LNG production in Arun until 2014

ExxonMobil Indonesia (EMOI), a subsidiary of ExxonMobil Corp, is committed to continue to produce LNG until 2014 at its oil and gas assets in Arun, Aceh, to be supplied to PT Arun NGL. The company will later decide internally on whether to continue production after the period.

?EMOI will continue to produce LNG until 2014. The plan for post 2014 will be discussed internally, and thus there?s nothing yet that could be shared (with the media),? Senior VP Exploration and External Relations of EMOI, Asep Sulaiman, told Petromindo.com Monday.

It?s not clear how much LNG production volume is made by EMOI from its Block B, NSO and Arun Satellite Field. Asep declined to provide further details.

He previously said that EMOI remains committed to continue to manage its oil and gas assets in Aceh.
