EMOI unveils 2013 work plans

ExxonMobil Indonesia (EMOI) plans to continue the development of the Banyu Urip Oil field in the Cepu Block, in Central and East Java, next year, according to a company official.
Senior Vice President for Exploration and External Relations Asep Sulaiman said that the company would continue with construction activity, well drilling, and gas development programs at the Cepu block.
EMOI also plans to maintain gas production in the aging Arun field to fulfill its LNG commitment by ensuring operational efficiency. Other activities for 2013 include continuing CBM exploration, and conducting evaluation and joint study to look for new areas for exploration.
?So we have a complete range of activities,? Asep told Petromindo.com Friday. ?Maintenance of production at the aging field (Arun), production at new field (EPF), developing new field (Banyu Urip, Cepu), exploration (conventional, unconventional), and looking for new exploration areas.?
He, however, declined to disclose the operational expenditure and capital expenditure plan for next year. ?We can?t disclose it yet because the Capex and Opex have yet to be approved (by the authority). It?s still being discussed with the regulator,? he said.
