EMP announces gas flow from Bentu PSC

IDX-listed oil, gas firm PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (EMP) reported on Monday that its Bentu PSC block onshore Riau has commenced gas production starting 1 February 2011 from the Seng and Segat gas fields.
The gas produced from Bentu is sold to PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (RAPP) based on the contracted volume of 21 million cubic feet gas per day.
The first gas from Bentu block?s Seng and Segal fields translates into another 3.000 ? 3.500 barrels equivalent per day, the company said.
EMP has 100 percent interest in Bentu PSC. (alex)
