EMP asks Pertamina to discuss on Semberah TAC

IDX-listed PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk. (EMP) has submited a letter requesting state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero) to discuss the future of the Semberah TAC block which expires this year, according to a top official of the firm.

The firm wants to discuss the type of cooperation that will be applied in the future for the development of the block, which is owned by Pertamina.

?We are waiting for response from Pertamina,? EMP?s President Director Imam Agustino told Petromindo.com.

EMP operates the Semberah TAC block in East Kalimantan with a 100 percent interest. According to the official website of the firm, last year the block produced 901 barrel per day of oil and 2.93 mmscfd of gas, and has 2P reserves of 0.58 million barrel of oil and 0.91 bcf of gas.
