EMP gets "Blue" rating for its units

JSX-listed oil firm PT. Energi Mega Persada (EMP) said all its units have received good environmental assessment after an audit conducted by The Ministry of Environment under Environmental Performance Compliance Evaluation Program or "Proper".
Company president Chris Newton in a release made available to petromindo.Com said that each operating unit has received "Blue" rating.
EMP, through its subsidiaries, operates three producing oil, gas block in Sumatra and Java; namely Malacca Strait block in Central Sumatra and Brantas and Kangean gas blocks in East Java. the company is currently East Java's top gas producer. (alex)
