EMP to get higher average gas selling price in 2011, 2012

Listed oil, gas firm PT Energi Mega Persada (EMP) expects a higher average selling price for its gas for 2011 and 2012 period compared to this year?s nine month average realized selling price of US$2.7 per thousand cubic feet (mcf).

The company said on Friday that it expected to get an average gas selling price of 3.54 per mcf in 2011 and $5.69 per mcf in 2012, respectively.

The company said that the selling price of gas from its Bentu PSC?s Seng and Segat fields is expected to stand at around $4.8 per mcf, starting 2011 and from its Kangean PSC?s Terang, Sirasun, Batur (TSB) fields at 5.15 per mcf and Malacca Straits PSC at $4.94 per mcf of, starting 2012, respectively.
