EMP to spud exploration well in Mozambique in Q2 next year

IDX-listed oil and gas firm PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk. (EMP) plans to spud an exploration well in the Buzi block in Mozambique in the second quarter of next year, according to a top official of the company.

The CEO of EMP Imam P Agustino told Petromindo.com that the company has just finished seismic and G&G activities in the block.

EMP owns 75 percent participating interest in the block in a partnership with the Mozambique government who owns another 25 percent through Empressa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos (ENH).
