IDX-listed oil and gas firm PT Energi Mega Persada (EMP) said it has completed a seismic survey on its Buzi block in Mozambique and with drilling campaign scheduled to begin soon.
"We have finished seismic activities. Next year we will begin drilling activities on new wells," said President Director Imam P. Agustino to Petromindo.com in Jakarta on Monday.
Imam said the company has sent 30 Indonesians to the African country to handle operation, including engineers and geologists.
EMP owns 75 percent participating interest in the block in a partnership with the Mozambique government who owns another 25 percent through Empressa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos (ENH).
