EMP: Tonga-1 well to be drilled in Q2 2015

IDX-listed PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (EMP) through its subsidiary, PT EMP Tonga, plans to drill one exploration well called Southeast Tonga-1 in the Tonga block in the second quarter of 2015, according to a top official of the company.
?The current oil production of the block has reached approximately 800-1,000 bopd,? CEO of EMP Imam P Agustino told Petromindo.com.
The Tonga block, which is located between Dumai in Riau and Sibolga in North Sumatra, is 94.29 percent owned and operated by PT EMP Tonga, 5 percent by PT Petross EP, and 0.71 percent by Rahina Dewayani.
Currently, the block produces 379 barrel of oil per day on 100 percent basis, and has 2P reserves of 3.34 million barrel of oil as per 30 June 2014.
