The first hole, GTD-07-15 was completed post quarter end at 411m. The hole is located approximately 80m NE of original hole GT-11 (68m @ 1.04g/t Au, 54 ppm Ag & 30m @ 0.22g/tAu, 4ppm Ag). Drilling is being undertaken with 3 x 8 hour shifts, the company said.
Fourteen drill holes are proposed in the area ? referred to as Zone C ? over 5 NE-SW trending 80m spaced traverses. A similar program will then be undertaken in the vicinity or original hole GT-10 (Area A)
An option exists for a second drilling rig to commence later in the year. This rig will have greater depth capacity and be capable of testing some of the deeper porphyry Cu-Au targets.
Soil sampling, geological mapping and rock chip sampling are ongoing in the Tumpangpitu and Salakan areas.
On August 19, 2007 Emperor signed an Alliance Agreement with Indonesian firm PT Indo Multi Niaga and Australian investors BVI company IndoAust Mining Limited to explore the Tujuh Bukit project. Emperor can earn up to a 70 percent economic interest through funding exploration activities. (denny)
